Korean Speaking Country Manager / VP (Dependent on Experience)

Who we are looking for:

Dream Agility provides world-class technology, client services, and operational support. We seek an entrepreneurial individual who can fill our ‘Korean gaps’, ideally with a proven track record in selling / marketing digital / technology, or who has experience of taking a highly successful global business into new markets.

Ideally well connected to major Korean advertisers, the successful candidate may be working in digital SAAS providers or digital agencies.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Representing Dream Agility: at Korea at K-Start and developing the APAC business into territories such as China, Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, and more
  • Translating into Korean: the website, producing Korean Product Sheets, Presentations, and proposals at a native standard. (Naver / Daum translate is not an acceptable level of Korean / English!)
  • Presentations: conduct presentations in Korean whether on K-start mentoring or deal flow meetings or at client offices on product demos or via Webex
  • Selling: incorporating Dream Agility’s solutions into your existing networks or develop new networks with support from Dream Agility and its partners like the British Embassy and Naver
  • Attending meetings: on Webex, with the CEO, in the UK and Korea
  • Manage and maintain email inbox: with strong organisational structure utilising excel wherever possible in ensuring personal efficiencies meet optimum possibility
  • To communicate and negotiate with websites of varying scale: from personal blogs to international publications across Korean and English language territories in both written and spoken format
  • Various ad hoc tasks: including keyword research, footprint analysis and other administration duties where required. Complete competitor analysis whenever required
  • Translation support: across all manner of marketing tasks i.e. Sales decks, website, articles, from English to Korean to the level of a native
  • Apply localisation knowledge to the Korean market 
  • Working with Dream Agility’s world class client list: to identify new opportunities for them in Korea and the wider APAC region
  • Support technology on Korean API integrations: with Naver and Daum. 

What you’ll need:

  • Under/post graduate educated to a minimum of ‘Degree’ level standard with good numeracy and English skills
  • A confident telephone manner, with call centre/customer service experience being an advantage
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Native level Korean language both written / oral.

What you'll be doing:

You will directly manage paid search campaigns for our clients, ensuring that their budget is being spent to campaign goals either CPA/ROAS or SKU level profit margin. For either Korean, Japanese or Mandarin speaking clients wishing to advertise in their own country and  in other territories, and for translation work on the accounts for other clients wishing to advertise in Korea, China or Japan.
You will be responsible for setting client strategy and ensuring that our day-to-day work is in line with the contract.
You will speak to clients on scheduled calls to ensure they’re aware of our activity and receiving reports each month.
Day-to-day, you will get hands-on with accounts to build campaigns to our specified format, manage budgets, run our full suite of reports including the Machine Learning based reports (full training given) monitor Merchant Centre and gather the analytics data to implement in the feed iterations.
You will be responsible for generating and sending client reports to show our activity and results


About you:

You’ll either have a degree (in Business, Marketing or STEM ) and/or 2 years of experience in paid search and shopping, and will have a proven track record working directly on a range of projects where you’ve played a significant role from start to finish.
Strong understanding of wider digital marketing channels and how they work together with paid search and social
Strong experience using Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets/ Adwords Editor and very comfortable sorting through large data sets. Our platform does all the heavy lifting and computation, we use humans for sense checking and to supervise the machine learning.
Confidence in speaking English and either Korean, Mandarin or Japanese to clients via email, phone and in-person
Knowledge of the appropriate major social and  search engines for Korea (Naver, Daum), Japan (Yahoo)  and China (Baidu, Alibaba) and making changes to improve data quality and conversion tracking.
Proficient in keyword research via Keyword Planner and tools like SEMrush
Great organisational and Planning skills, preferably with the use of planning tools such as Microsoft Project etc.
Knowledge or experience of SEO is a bonus but not essential
Experience managing social media advertising across Kakao Talk, WeChat (in China), Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter is a bonus but not essential

Dream Agility are looking for an articulate, analytical Trainee PPC Account Executive, preferably  with agency experience or a Graduate,  to be based in Ramsbottom, Greater Manchester. 

Your Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point-of-contact for clients
  • Conducting end-to-end research tasks throughout the on boarding process.
  • Lead the day-to-day management and optimisation of client campaigns and cross-channel media.
  • Attending regular client meetings face to face or phone 
  • Drive strategic program development and identify areas for upselling and account growth
  • Reporting the ongoing performance of campaigns
  • Desire and willingness to test, embrace and encourage new technologies, product offerings and marketing channels
  • Develop program summary/analysis, set agendas, and present to senior decision makers
  • Provide client recommendations to include: search engine marketing, display remarketing, biddable ad exchange media, mobile, social, creative, and analytics

Your Capabilities

Business  Development Executive/ Graduate Trainee

The Role

We are now actively looking for an ambitious and energetic Business  Development Executive/ Graduate Trainee to help us to expand our clientele. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is seeking a position to begin their career within the digital marketing sector and would be interested in progressing their career.  You’ll require an analytical mind and be interested in identifying the challenges of the businesses we sell to and be able to identify which of the Dream Agility products are right for them and just as importantly identifying situations when we are not the appropriate fit for the client. 

You’ll be expected to take ownership of the full sales cycle of activity, from initial background research and prospecting, to meeting prospective clients - working consultatively to close sales and build long-term client accounts with confidence. A motivated self-starter, with the use of the latest in Bots to do the grunt work for you,  research and engage ‘warm’ and ‘cold’ clients and manage inbound leads. The Business Development Exec will be expected to engage with prospective clients on face to face and via webex, organising your own time and agenda as appropriate.
You are responsible for the sales cycle to the point of handover to client services, who will manage the onboarding and takeover the client relationship from there.

If you have a penchant for travel, we operate out of UK, Australia, South Korea and France, and have regular opportunities  for people who wish to represent Dream Agility to travel overseas.

Responsibilities

The Person

• Educated to degree level in either STEM or Business Management OR  with 2 years sales experience in a related sector
• IT literate with good knowledge of software packages such as Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience of CRM systems.

• Good written and oral communication skills
• A natural relationship builder, from whom the team can learn
• Strong organisational skills, managing your own diary/time
• Attention to detail, filling in the CRM correctly, presenting data accurately

The Package
