Dream Agility CTO Glyn Powditch appeared in yesterday’s Indepedent on Sunday. Futurist and Journalist Helena Pozniak asked “esteemed business leaders to predict the dramatic changes in workplace habits in the near future, from flat-structured companies to an increase in wearable technology”.
Glyn commented that “wearable technology combined with predictive big data will change working practice in the near future. Remote teams will live cross-border and will be skills-related rather than nation driven. Firms will be smaller and working contracts much shorter. Inequality will continue to rise; those with technology skills will thrive amore than ever and those without will end up feral.”
Other predictions included Africa being the major driving force globally over the next 30 – 40 years and the almost inevitable commentary on increased remote working.
