The awards ceremony and black-tie dinner highlighted the creativity, innovation and excellence of the UK’s meat industry.
Manufacturers, supermarkets, industry suppliers, trade organisations, catering butchers, independent retailers and outstanding individuals were amongst those recognised across a total of 20 awards. Swaldale saw themselves showcased against names like Pilgrim’s and Waitrose.
Yorkshire based and proud of it, they’re a family run, whole-carcass butcher, working in partnership with the finest small-scale, sustainable farms on The Dales. Specialising in heritage breeds of cattle, sheep and pigs, wild venison, and native game birds, their meat is slow-grown and free roaming, just as nature intended.
